I'm here to share my story with everyone. Here on the blog, I have several posts that tell about how I found my first car. I had a horrible time throughout my first few years of living on my own. I had really bad financial problems, I couldn't afford the things I owned and I didn't have a car! I was just starting out college and I needed something to change, I couldn't live this way forever.

My girlfriend was forced to drive me everywhere. Working at Rite-Aid part-time, it was a joke to think I could save up and buy a used vehicle. I had living expenses, bills to pay, mouths to feed and I couldn't handle the pressure. I remember thinking "If I just had a car. I'd find a better job. I could drive to somewhere out of town. Make more money and live happier." However, things didn't seem to ever get better. Well, until it actually did.

I didn't really know what to think at first. When you imagine seized vehicles, you don't get the impression that they would be well cared for. However I learned pretty quickly that every vehicle is inspected thoroughly by the government. Each car has the breaks checked and ensured of 50% or more left on the pads. The tires are inspected and can't be balding. Not to mention, the engine and mechanics of the car are looked over. Basically, they're much more reliable than a private seller or used vehicle you'd find anywhere else. You're not going to have tranny problems or other concerns.

The two cars I've bought, one that I still drive today, have completely lived up to that. I haven't had anything go wrong at all and the second car I sold for almost three times what I paid!

Every car I've found up for auction has been incredibly cheap. Like I said, I was able to sell the second car I bought for three times the money. The cars are just something you can't come across easily. It's amazing that there are so many of these available. I've read reviews of businesses and dealerships that use the website. If you're familiar with the posts here on the blog, then you're aware that I used to be very frustrated with my financial problems. If you've been keeping up with the posts, then you probably know the gist of my story. I lived with financial problems and no vehicle since the age I was eligible to drive a car. I was in college and still am but since sixteen-years-old I'd been struggling with money. I didn't have anything to drive me to work and my girlfriend was forced to drive me everywhere. I wanted things to change for the better. I had an apartment but I could hardly even afford that. How was I supposed to get car?

I mean, I wanted a quality vehicle, something reliable that would last for years to come. Could seized vehicles and government owned cars possibly offer that sense of security?

Well I didn't wait long to find the answer. I read reviews, I did some research, and ultimately the website seemed like exactly what I needed. I decided to signup and begin looking for the best car I could find for the money. After all, these were discounted cars that were up for auction. Maybe I could snag up something no one else paid interest to.

While there might be some other government car auction websites available, there definitely isn't anything quite like this. The website is extensive, it covers every type of car I could possibly imagine. I just wanted a car, I didn't realize I'd be able to pick which one. Suddenly I went from being a poor college kid to being able to afford a vehicle that would normally be well out of my price range.

The cars were high quality, cheap and easy to find!

I really couldn't be more happy with the website. I mean, I was so skeptical at first but I didn't have to be. There's so many cars to browse and they're all ridiculously low priced! Of course, you still have to bid on it. However, I've done a lot of browsing and most of the cars only get one or two bids! You usually don't even have to compete with anyone. Not to mention, they're local auctions so you get to pin-point the car you're looking for online, then find the location and time to go to the auction.

If you want, you can even bid online for selected vehicles. I thought this was pretty cool. I'm not the real outgoing type so being able to find the car I want and buy it from my computer chair was quite the bonus. It's probably always a good idea to test it out before you bid on the car though. I would recommend the website to anyone who's looking to buy a used car. You can find them for so cheap, it blew my mind. Actually, it changed my life.

I've been able to buy my first car and lift the strain of transportation off of my girlfriends hands. I didn't really want to stop there either. Are they reliable and well cared for cars?

I didn't regret my decision one bit, it's probably the best thing I've ever done. Both of the cars I've purchased have been in almost perfect condition. Other than some real slight scratches on the exterior, they're spotless. I haven't had a single issue with the mechanics or engines of the cars either.

Any used car raises questions and concerns. Was it treated well? Was the oil changed on time? You have to take these factors into consideration. With these vehicles though, the government does a complete inspection. You know that the breaks are at least 50% or better and the tires aren't balding. You also know that you won't run into transmission problems, alignment issues or any other concerns. Every car has been driven, tested and thoroughly inspected to ensure the quality of the vehicle. In fact, I'd consider these cars to be more reliable and well cared for then anything you'd buy from a private owner. You just don't know what shape the vehicle is in unless you take it to a mechanic. When you find government vehicles through the website you have that sense of security that the car has been well treated and looked over. Otherwise, it wouldn't be listed.

Possibly the most exciting information I'd heard in years regarded government vehicle auctions. At this point, I was desperate. I needed a car, I needed more money and I wanted my problems to go away. Everything around me seemed to be crumbling down. I felt trapped, helpless, I didn't know where to turn to. However, I wasn't going to make a careless decision. I always remembered that I didn't have money, so I didn't need to go throwing it away on something that wasn't going to work out.

These seized vehicles and government owned cars seemed like a good thing. After all, the reviews I was reading were raving about one particular site. The website allowed you to see what vehicle auctions were available locally. Judging by the way everyone was talking, I could tell that the online site where the auctions were posted was quite handy. I mean, without it, you wouldn't even know where to find these cars. I've looked around for auctions and seized vehicle giveaways in my area, but I couldn't ever find any. Maybe this was the kind of tool I really needed.

Just a few years ago I was beginning my long venture into college. As many college students are, I was under huge financial strains. I was forced to use private loans to afford my education and apartment and my budget was cut considerably short. These very financial problems were ruining my relationship with my girlfriend and making life incredibly difficult. I didn't have much money, I worked at Rite-Aid part-time so you can imagine the struggle. What little money I had was spent handling my living expenses.

I had an apartment, some luxuries like a television and computer but I didn't have a car. My girlfriend and I barely made ends meet, but we somehow managed. She was fortunate enough to be given a vehicle by her parents. That very car was essential to our transportation. Without it, neither of us would have had a job.

Things had to change, I needed a car, fast!

The first time she ran into some car trouble it became very apparent that we weren't going to survive with just one vehicle. Cars are prone to having problems and her sedan had over 130,000 miles on it! Things weren't looking good for us. I knew I had to do something to help out our situation. The problem for me was, I didn't know what that was. We were both new college students and we didn't have the money for a second vehicle. Being so young, we didn't have credit or the necessary requirements to finance either.

I started out by doing some research on the Internet. I started in the same place that just about everyone would, Craigslist. Craigslist is great for finding private sellers that have used vehicles for sale. However, they were still way out of my price range! Under the blue book value or not, they were expensive! No one wants to just, "let their car go" and that's completely understandable. However, I needed a car that was being sold CHEAP!

How I found hope on the Internet:

The more research I did, the more I learned. Ultimately all my hard work began to pay off when I started to come across some cool resources. I found reviews and testimonials that were suggesting you could find well cared for vehicles on the Internet. I know there's a lot of scams online so I definitely wasn't going to go purchasing a car over the Internet. I decided to keep reading and find out what the raving reviews were all about.

I quickly learned that these reviews weren't talking about buying a car over the Internet at all. Rather, they were referring to government vehicle auctions where seized vehicles and government owned cars are auctioned off for really low prices! The auctions are held locally but you get to see all of the cars up through the Internet. The listings include any progress with bids, other available inventory and the details about each car.

Government vehicle auctions were exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. At a first glance, the site seemed perfect. Assuming it was exactly as it described, I couldn't see a downside. I didn't want to jump the gun and just rush in though. Considering my financial situation, spending money on getting access to this auction site was the last thing I wanted to do. I set sail to find out as much I could about the website, and about government owned vehicles. In doing so, I could then make an informative decision about what I should do.

I wanted to remain good spirited, maybe this wasn't too good to be true!
